The Fluffer - Pg. 20

Buttons? This fox has no time for buttons, there's horse cock awaitin'!

The drawing aspect of this page might be a little janky- well, even jankier than usual anyway. I managed to fuck up one of my eyes pretty good the other day, and this was largely drawn while dealing with that nonsense. Quick version- I use a car battery charger to keep my car alive while I'm not driving it lately, and that's connected via extension cord to the house. The cord is a big knobbly bastard, designed for outdoor use. I was out the other night bringing the cord/charger in, since I don't like to leave it outside at night, and after unplugging the charger from the cord I casually tossed the cord up over the hand railing onto the deck- except it caught on something and swung back around right into my face. Keep in mind that it was dark out, so reflexes had no chance to help me get out of the way of the thing, since I didn't see it coming. But that's okay, because my eyeball softened the blow for the rest of my face!

Suffice it to say, that was quite unpleasant. I'm fairly certain I didn't have my eye all the way closed when it hit, based on the feeling like my eye had sand in it for the next whole day, which from what I've heard is a bit like what eye injuries feel like.

My point is, I mostly drew this with one of my eyes out of commission. By the next day- when I was working on this- the pain was mostly gone if I kept the eye closed, but my eye still had that sandy feeling in it, and would not stop with the watering. And eyes are a bit like babies apparently, because once one starts crying the other one will join in without even knowing why, so I could only work on this for a minute or two at a time- with one eye, since it hurt too much to open the other one- before having to close both eyes and rest for a few minutes to clear them. Rince and repeat all day, that was my day. Fun stuff. You ever hold one eye closed for a whole day, by the way? It makes your face muscles hurt. I had to rig up a makeshift eyepatch after a while, but I couldn't wear that for long either because that hurt too. Let's just say everything sucked.

But, today it seems to be mostly back to normal aside from a bit of a dryness feeling and a nice big bruise, so I could work on this fairly normally for painting. Not a serious injury by any means, just a very uncomfortable one, hah.

Anyway, here's another page of the comic or whatever.
